$5.5 Million result for pain and suffering. Facts: A young patient in a health care facility required multiple surgeries and the insertion of a feeding tube in his abdomen. We established that the need for the surgeries and feeding tube was the fault of the healthcare facility’s negligent care of this patient.
$3.2 Million result after trial verdict and all appeals for pain and suffering; lost wages and medical care. Facts: A police officer driving a police vehicle on a beach ran over a middle-aged sunbather, causing multiple crush injuries, requiring multiple neck surgeries and resulting in an inability to work at his usual employment. We established that the incident was entirely the fault of the police officer.
$2.8 Million result at trial for pain and suffering. Facts: A factory worker suffered disfiguring injuries to his dominant right hand while cleaning a machine at work. We established that the machine was defectively manufactured.

Facts: Unemployed tenant fell down a flight of cement steps in the apartment building where he lived. Tenant suffered injuries to his back. We established that the fall was the result of the landlord’s failure, to properly paint the steps and that the tenant suffered serious back injuries.
$1.5 Million result at a pre-trial settlement conference for pain and suffering and lost wages. Facts: A construction worker injured his shoulder as the result of a fall while descending from a ladder at a construction site. We established that the ladder was not properly secured and, therefore, a violation of New York State Industrial Code.
$1.4 Million result at trial by jury verdict for pain and suffering and reduction in earnings. A construction worker injured his wrist, knee, and back while standing on the back of a truck when a crane operator allowed the counterweight to brush against the construction worker. We proved violations of New York industrial code caused the counterweight to brush against the worker causing injuries to his back, wrist, and knee.
$1.2 Million result at mediated settlement for pain and suffering and lost wages. A construction worker injured his back moving a garbage container down a ramp when the container slipped off the ramp. We proved that the ramp was not built in full compliance with New York State Industrial Code.
$925,000 result at underinsured arbitration. On-duty police officer injured his neck as the result of being the victim of a rear-end automobile collision.
$800,000 result settlement before trial for a widow who lost her husband due to medical malpractice as a result of a missed diagnosis of lung cancer.

We proved that the police officer had the right-of-way as the other driver did not yield the right-of-way after stopping at a stop sign.
